❤️ SSR TCG Does It Again: 4,500 Disney Lorcana Cards Donated to Local Elementary School

Some things are worth doing twice.
Earlier this year, SSR TCG donated 2,700 Disney Lorcana cards to a local elementary school — sorted into 90 starter decks and handed directly to 4th and 5th grade classrooms. Watching kids flip through cards, recognize their favorite Disney characters, and immediately start trading with their classmates was one of the most rewarding moments we've had as a small family business.
So we did it again. Bigger this time.
SSR TCG recently donated 150 premade packs — 4,500 Disney Lorcana cards — back to the same local elementary school, continuing our commitment to putting real cards into kids' hands and letting the hobby grow from there.
Every pack was preassembled and ready to go, making it easy for teachers to distribute without any setup required. No rules explanation needed, no complicated instructions — just cards, Disney characters kids already love, and the natural curiosity that takes over the moment a child opens their first pack.
For many students this was still a first — a first pack opened, a first trade made, a first moment of recognizing a character from a movie and finding them on a card. Those moments don't get old. The energy in a classroom full of kids cracking packs for the first time is something you can't manufacture, and it's exactly why we keep coming back.
Trading card games build more than collections. They build vocabulary, math skills, social confidence, and the kind of shared experience that turns classmates into friends. Disney Lorcana makes that entry point as low as it gets — the characters are already familiar, the artwork is stunning, and the excitement is immediate.
We're grateful to the teachers and staff who welcomed us back and helped get the cards into the right hands. And we're grateful to our customers and community — because projects like this are only possible when the hobby supports itself.
